With hundreds of moves under our belt, we have been able to learn how to avoid the major and minor pitfalls that the average home owner and even hired moving company would not be able to predict and prevent.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
Relocation planning doesn't have to be stressful, so come along with us, have a laugh and perhaps a sentimental tear, because we love what we do, and when you are our client, you become like family. The key I have found to help reduce stress is to start the process sooner then later if possible. Often we meet with clients months before to begin planning, coordinating and most importantly the declutter process. Purging items which have been lost in the garage, attic, or bottom of drawer which have little value can be donated, sold or gifted. Getting through a move with as little disruption to your life as possible is our goal, which is achieved through planning, experience, and communication.
IS SCOTTY'S MOVING MATTERS A MOVING COMPANY?
SCOTTY'S MOVING MATTERS is not a moving company. We assist in the planning and design of the pre-move, oversee move, and the implementation of design, & style of the move-in. The pack & move of personal possessions is just one aspect of a relocation. We hire art & audio/visual installers, piano movers, intense house cleaners, and assist with utility transfers, so your house is move-out, and move-in-ready when you are. We are responsible for the entire move and/or the organization of the task hired for. We have relationships with many high-end, reputable companies that assist us in town and across the United States.
WHAT DOES IT COST FOR SCOTTY'S MOVING MATTERS SERVICES?
All work is billed hourly and transparently. Clients can enjoy peace of mind knowing where the project financially stands on a daily/weekly basis. Budget can be looked at and changed accordingly. No move and/or organization is alike, with ever changing scenarios and issues, which is why a flat fee is not used.
